Behavioural Safety for Management

Duration: 8 hours

Aim: The aim of this program is to assist supervisors and managers to develop a 'Safety Culture'.

Behavioural Safety is about ensuring that employees' safe acts are reinforced and unsafe acts indentified in a positive and professional way.

Participants will be able to work with employees to improve work practices and reinforce a positive safety culture.

Behavioural Safety can also be a very useful tool for supervising and managing contractors.

Key Areas Covered:

  • Theory behind behavioural safety
  • Observations in the workplace; and
  • Implement a Behavioural Observation Program at work
  • Safety Culture and Behavioural Change; and
  • Safe Work Practices

Target Audience: Managers and Supervisors in all workplace environments.

This HSE training course is not currently available in HAZCON's public training schedule. This course can be conducted 'in house' at your company's premises or at HAZCON's specialised training facilities in Trafalgar or Notting Hill.
