HAZCON has been invited to present at the Australian Environment Business Network's (AEBN) Managing Your Waste Effectively Seminar in December.

AEBN is Australia's peak organisation that specialises in representing industry, business and councils across Australia on environmental and energy matters likely to impact organisation and business operations.

The subject matter HAZCON will present is;

ASBESTOS:  Identification, management and disposal of asbestos waste and asbestos materials

  • What is asbestos waste;
  • Asbestos regulatory framework;
  • Assessment, management and disposal of asbestos waste and asbestos materials including in soils; and
  • Issues faced in managing asbestos.

Our experience and knowledge in the asbestos identification, risk assessment, removal and waste management areas will be shared with the attendees. The intention of our presentation is to ensure that organisations are all on the same page when it comes to managing this carcinogenic material from the source of contamination to disposal.
