Duration: 4 hours

Aim: Re-energise your Health and Safety Committee, Managers and HSR's

HAZCON is now offering an innovative way of engaging and supporting Health and Safety Committees. The Health Safety Representative (HSR) Forum is a specific health and safety workshop tailored for HSR's, Managers, Supervisors and Health and Safety Committee members. The interactive workshop is a 4 hour based session which covers the following key areas, but can be tailored to address any current issues at your workplace.

  • Updates from the regulator; including information for HSR's;
  • Recent and proposed legislative changes;
  • New health and safety guidance material
  • Recent Case law;
  • Effective leadership and culture;
  • Legal duties - Roles and Responsibilities;
  • Consultation and communication;
  • OHS/WHS Management Systems;
  • Hazards and issues relevant to your business/organisation;
  • Building effective relationships;
  • Perceptions of the role of the HSR; and
  • Challenges for Managers and Supervisors.

Target Audience: HSR's, Managers, Supervisors and any person wishing to obtain a greater understanding of health and safety legislation.

This HSE training course isn't currently available in HAZCON's public training schedule. However this course can be conducted 'in house' at your company's premises or at HAZCON's specialised training facilities in Trafalgar,  Notting Hill or Brisbane.
