Hazardous Manual Handling

Duration: 4 hours

Aim: To provide an understanding of responsibilities under the OHS Regulations 2017 and enable participants to improve productivity and comfort by using ergonomic techniques.

  • Responsibilities of employers and employees
  • Causes of Injuries and long term health effects
  • Hazard identification, risk factors and principal areas of risk
  • Conducting a manual handling risk assessment
  • Risk Control strategies and undertaking a review

Target Audience: All employees and employers involved in manual handling tasks in their daily operations.
