Payment Options for Public Course Bookings
You are required to pay at the time of booking using credit card online or you can select to have the invoice emailed to you to make an electronic funds transfer (EFT), (unless you have a pre-approved trading account). Please email us the payment receipt/remittance advice to confirm your training booking. You can also pay over the phone: 1800429266.
Account Holders – If you are making a booking on behalf of an organisation with a pre-approved account with HAZCON Pty Ltd you can add a Purchase Order number in the billing stage. The invoice will be emailed to you, as the booker, to process. We accept all Australian Federal and State Government Department/Entities and Council Purchase Orders. If you require a quotation, or need to add a Purchase Order to an invoice later, please get in touch with our friendly team.

The Silica Awareness Training program is designed to help employers, supervisors, and workers meet their legal obligations under Victorian OHS legislation by providing practical knowledge in the topics listed below in ‘Learning outcomes’.
Please note we do not use any Silica Dust during our training.

To be successful in this course the student must satisfactorily complete 1 assessment task.
If required; students are provided with two re-assessment opportunities on the day. Access to our appeals process is available in our student handbook should the student wish to consider that option if competency hasn’t been achieved after two re-assessment opportunities.
On successful completion and assessed as competent you will receive a Certificate of Completion issued by HAZCON Pty Ltd for, Silica Awareness Training.

In order to identify individual learners’ requirements please bring to our attention any candidate that has any needs such as; literacy, access or, medical restrictions so arrangements can be made prior to course commencement.

As of 15th May 2022 all workers/employees who are likely to be exposed to risks associated with high risk crystalline silica must undergo training. HAZCON has developed a short fun fact filled 2 hour Silica Awareness Training program.
