The respective OHS/WHS compliance frameworks have refined the duties of employers/PCBU's and contractors in relation to their responsibilities for health and safety in the construction environment.

The legal frameworks also provide new minimum standards to assist all relevant duty holders to control risks and reduce injuries.

Contracts are becoming increasingly more complicated and sophisticated to ensure that Principal Contractors meet their responsibilities through appropriate monitoring and supervision.

HAZCON has developed a range of consulting services to assist contract managers in developing robust contractor management systems and for contractors, to assist them in enhancing their health and safety management system to place them at the top of the approval list.
