Hazardous Substances & Dangerous Goods in the Workplace

Duration: 4 hours

Aim: To provide individuals with an overview of the legislative requirements, including the identification of dangerous goods / hazardous substances, which incorporates risk management principles to solve and control challenges in the workplace.

Key Areas Covered:

  • OHS Regulations 2017
  • Dangerous Goods Regulations 2012
  • Safe handling, storage and transport
  • Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
  • Implementation of the GHS for labelling
  • Risk assessment and control measures

Target Audience:Managers, supervisors or anyone involved with use, handling, storage or transport of hazardous substances or dangerous goods.

This HSE training course is not currently available in HAZCON's public training schedule. This course can be conducted 'in house' at your company's premises or at HAZCON's specialised training facilities in Trafalgar or Notting Hill.
